Ocean Rhythms Screening

Join us for a special screening of OCEAN RHYTHMS! A long-lost 1975 surf film by Steve Core @stevecoresurf This iconic film captures the energy and evolution of 70s surf culture, featuring early pioneers Michael Peterson, Wayne ‘Rabbit’ Bartholomew, Mark Richards, and Pete Townend. Also, incredible footage of innovators like Terry Richardson, Col Smith, Ian Cairns, and Peter Crawford. Live Music: Following the film, Newcastle’s indie pop duo @tryoutsmusic Comprised of singer-songwriters Chelsea Reed and David Macmichael, The Tryouts deliver simple arrangements framing clever lyrics, catchy pop melodies and a little humor. 🗓 Date: Saturday 28 June 📍 Venue: The Bungwahl Hall, Lakes Way, Bungwahl NSW ⏰ Doors: 5:30pm – 10:00pm 🎬 Film Screening: 6:15pm 🎨 Plus: · Art Show · Food by Bungwahl Mexicana · Fully Licensed Bar (Strictly No BYO) 🎟 Tickets: $20 Children under 10 enter free. Walk to the beach and learn about Booti Booti National Park and all its beauty. You’ll gain an understanding of the important role of workers in a national park, and how you can help to conserve and protect these special places. Understand the important role of workers in a national park, and how you can help to conserve and protect these special places. Discover what role our future environmental leaders or junior rangers can play in preserving these important places into the future. Grading: Easy. Suitable for adults and children 5 years and over. Guided: Yes. Wheelchair access: No. Price: Child $15 per person (5 to 16 years). Accompanying adults free. Park use fees: Yes. $8 per vehicle per day. Day passes are available from the Manning Great Lakes Area Office, Bulahdelah Visitor Information Centre and the Hawks Nest Newsagency. Wear enclosed non-slip shoes and be prepared to get them a little wet.   Events run: Wed 16 Apr10am – 12pm Fri 11 Jul10am – 12pm Thu 2 Oct10am – 12pm
