Family Time

Positive: The house was located in a very pretty area, with great views over to the lake, sandbar and ocean. We also enjoyed the birdlife around us there. We found there was plenty of room for us, our three adult offspring and their partners. Especially enjoyable was the ability to all float about in the plunge pool or sit around the edges laughing and chatting with some music.Negative: The bedroom with nothing but two single beds in it could do with at least one bedside table and lamp.

We loved the property there was plenty of room for all 8 of us, it was our Ladies annual catch up. The kitchen and living space was great for socialising, we loved the bar fridge and the spaciousness of the house especially the bedrooms being away from the main living area. The outlook from the house decks is just lovely and so is the native birdlife !

"One of the best holiday homes we've stayed in. It fit 6 adults and 6 kids comfortably, The kids had their own lounge area as did the adults. 3 beds with 3 baths, a bedroom for kids and more bed space for even more kids - what more could one ask for. We spent most mornings and evenings sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. The modern home coupled with the tranquility of the surroundings makes this an ideal holiday spot, The swimming pool was an absolute bonus!!! Highly recommend Akama. Make it your next holiday home!"

"This house is just superb, with the perfect blend of privacy, luxury and the feeling of a lazy beach holiday all rolled into one. After spending his mornings fishing at the Lake with Dad, our son spent his afternoons lazing in the pool, while we enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck.. overlooking filtered views of the Lake and beyond to the sea. It was heavenly and we cant wait to stay there again."

Great stay at Akama, our family loved it "Owners have thought of everything! We celebrated my mom's 70th, cooked a fab meal for 3 generations of family to celebrate, kitchen had everything we needed. Kids loved the pool, toys, games & watching movies downstairs in the rumpus. Adults enjoyed the deck, watching multi coloured birds swooping .. Smiths Lake was awesome for the whole family, we'll be back."

Fantastic Property "We went for a girls weekend away and it was fantastic. So much room and great entertaining decks. The house has everything you need and a great pool to cool off in. And not to far from anything - shops, beach & Bowling club."

Lovely place "We loved the property. Thought the pool, table tennis table and kayaks were a great addition. Kitchen and other facilities were great. Only downsides were the squeaky double bed in the bunk bed, the dead bird on the balcony with unmentionables and the confusion about what linen to bring. Other than that it was top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend it to others."

Fantastic Property! "House was absolutely perfect! Was very clean and everything we needed was provided for. The views from the balcony and also the pool were stunning, everyone loved swimming and being able to look out to a view! The area was super quiet, great for relaxation, and only a short walk to the lake. Would definitely recommend and stay again!"

Fantastic Stay and Even Greater Property! This place was fantastic! Spotless on arrival and fit our group so well, there was so much room! The pool was smaller than we initially thought, but swimming with a view was so relaxing and we loved it nonetheless. Would love to come back!
