Topi Open Range Farm
We're passionate farmers with a focus on ecological and sustainable practices and are dedicated to creating a range of premium quality, artisan produce that doesn't cost the earth. We began producing... our Open Range eggs in 2016. Sold across the region, Topi Open Range eggs fast became a favourite of locals and visitors alike. Our chickens love foraging, playing and socialising with their flock in our green pastures. All our birds graze on grass and forage for bugs and natural goodies in the earth, we provide clean rain water for them to drink and top up their natural diets with Australian Country Heritage Feed (Organic Certification 10607P). It's not just chickens that roam our pastures, there are other animals that call Topi home too: Topi Alpacas. We have fourteen magnificent alpacas. Because of their unusual appearance and significant height, these beautiful creatures act as a natural deterrent to birds of prey; plus they’re super cute. Chaos and Havoc, our mischievous dogs. Proud Supporter of The Great Lakes Food Trail Finding ourselves amongst a group of amazing producers who are committed to the humane production of wholesome food, we decided to establish The Great Lakes Food Trail. The trail aims to connect local and ethical producers with our community. Whether it’s freshly grown produce, craft beer, fine wines, seafood, sweet treats or other bounties of the region, The Great Lakes Food Trail is an easy to follow route, visiting local farms, breweries and vineyards.
