Reviews
Amazing location. Just a short stroll to easily one of the best beaches in Australia. Dolphins were cruising past multiple times a day and during a snorkel we saw turtles, eagle rays and other cool stuff! Outstanding beach and the view from the deck is wonderful. The beds were really comfortable too!
Briesta is a beach cottage with a rustic charm about it. We loved the small open layout, breathtaking 270 degrees views from the deck and cute fireplace (it rained on our first night so it was perfect). We saw whales breaching, dolphins, sea eagles and a few pelicans on the beach too. A nice short walk to Sugarloaf lighthouse, and Pacific Palms were efficient and helpful in allowing us to extend our stay. I couldn't recommend more highly!
We stayed for a week at this basic comfortable renovated fisherman's shack with its wonderful deck and amazing view. Absolutely a prime location with a small walk to the beach, lighthouse and local shop that had everything. We saw whales, sharks, birdlife, dolphins and sunsets from our deck! We did beach fishing caught salmon, snorkeled and swam in August! We had 6 adults and it was a bit of a squeeze this was especially noted after 1 couple left that we had more room in the living quarter. We also did our main grocery shopping the next day after arriving in Forster and topped supplies from the local shop. Great value!!
Views over Paradise "We had the best and most relaxing week at Briesta. Great value for money with spectacular views. The house is modest but delightfully charming. Everything we possibly needed was provided. We'll definitely stay here again."
Great location "Older style, well kept and clean home with the best view and location. Would definitely stay again."
Cosy fishing shack "Unbeatable position, killer views, everything you need, nothing you don't. Small but well equipped. We'll be back."
Relaxing and Peaceful "Briesta was exactly what we were looking for. Outstanding Location. Breathtaking views. So peaceful. Great Beach House with character and very clean. We will be back. Just need a key safe at the house, instead of travelling up to Pacific Palms and back!!"
