HOW TO GET TO PACIFIC PALMS

The beauty of Pacific Palms is that although it is not far once you arrive it will feel like you are a million miles away. Sydney is an easy 3hr drive, Newcastle 90min, Tamworth 4hrs and the Coffs Harbour 3.5hrs. Whether you are coming from the north or the south you will meet the Lakesway. Follow the Lakesway to Pacific Palms.

Travelling from Sydney

Access the M1 at Wahroonga and follow this towards Newcastle until it becomes the A1. Then stay on the A1 all the way to the Lakesway turn off north of Bulahdelah.

Travelling from Newcastle

Head towards Hexham and the A1. Then stay on the A1 to the Lakesway turn off north of Bulahdelah.

Travelling from Tamworth

Take Tamworth – Nundle Rd, Ogunbil Rd, Nowendoc Rd, Topdale Rd towards Thunderbolts Way. Stay on Thunderbolts until you reach the Bucketts Way then follow this road to Krambach where you will head towards Nabiac and the A1. North of Nabiac take Failford Rd to meet the Lakesway then follow the Lakesway, through Forster, towards the Palms.

Public transport

The best form of public transport to the Palms is bus. You can catch a bus from Sydney, Broadmeadow Station (Newcastle), Forster and Taree Station. Use Busways 150 and 151 routes. The nearest airport (Jetstar, Qantas & Virgin) is Newcastle where you can hire car or catch a bus into Newcastle CBD to meet up with the Busways Great Lakes service. You can also catch a train to Newcastle or Taree stations and a bus from there.
